It is never an easy time when you have to say the final farewell to your beloved pet. Allowing your pet to pass away in the comfort and familiarity of their home is often the kindest treatment option you can give your best friend.
I am able to perform euthanasia in your home, providing your pet with a very peaceful, calm and dignified farewell. When the time has come to say your good-bye I will explain the process to you, and allow you and your pet to take as much time as you need. Your pet will be sedated so they are not at all anxious or stressed and are pain-free.
There are some things you need to consider as well:
- Think about your choice for the after care of your pet once they have passed
- Perhaps encourage your children to write a farewell note or drawing for their beloved pet
- Take some photos of your companion to add to your memories
